Host an author-and-reader conversation or church book night.
Explore bulk-order or bookstore connections when offered by the author or retailer.
Nominate relevant books or authors for council consideration or recognition.
Participate in CAC service and community initiatives when opportunities are available.
CAC should act as a connector, not as a substitute for a church's own theological, safeguarding, event, or procurement review. Churches remain responsible for evaluating whether an author, book, or program is appropriate for their congregation.
Share your event type, ministry audience, topic, location or online format, preferred dates, and any theological or logistical requirements. CAC can identify potentially relevant members and facilitate introductions where available.
CAC may collaborate with churches on reading lists, author spotlights, book conversations, literary events, youth or family programs, and community service efforts. All collaborations should have a defined scope, responsible point of contact, and transparent expectations.
CAC's Serve pillar is intended to extend literary activity into tangible support for church restoration and community needs. Any funding, grant, or partner-supported initiative should be published with clear eligibility, selection, and reporting standards.
